The 8th Annual Dirk Nowitzki Foundation Tennis Classic was a huge success, bringing a full house to Banner House at T Bar M for an unforgettable afternoon of tennis, laughter and giving back.

Dirk Nowitzki welcomed a star-studded group of athletes, celebrities and supporters to the court for an afternoon that showcased the fun and competitive spirit of the event while bringing the community together for an important cause.

From the first serve to the final point, the energy inside Banner House was unmistakable. Fans enjoyed an afternoon filled with competitive tennis, memorable moments and plenty of laughs, all while supporting the work of the Dirk Nowitzki Foundation.

For Dirk, the event continues to bring together two things that have been important throughout his life: a love of sports and a commitment to giving back.

»Tennis was my first sport, and it’s still a game I love to play,« said Nowitzki. »I started this fundraiser years ago, and the support we receive is absolutely amazing. It’s been incredible to watch it grow into an event that not only brings the community together but also makes a real difference for children and families in need.«

The Tennis Classic has grown into a signature event for the Foundation and its largest fundraising effort of the year. The incredible support from attendees, participants, sponsors and partners helps the Foundation continue its mission of supporting children and families across North Texas.

But beyond the competition on the court, the day was about coming together. The full reflected the generosity of a community that continues to show up for Dirk and the Foundation year after year.

The 2026 Tennis Classic was more than an afternoon of tennis. It was a celebration of community, a shared love of the game and, most importantly, an opportunity to make a lasting impact.
